The S197 Mustang has great power and potential from the factory, but for those who crave a little more, the AR500 Mustang from Wheel to Wheel Powertrain may be the car to get. The AR500 features “Antonov” Technology, a gearing adjustment setup to modify the gear ratio at different RPMs.In the lower half of the powerband, the AR500 gets a helical planetary gear set to distribute a 1.36:1 step-up ratio in the first half of the RPM band, but only during hard acceleration! A centrifugal clutch will disengage the step-up ratio at a predetermined speed to make the vehicle more fuel friendly. This unit is coupled with a Rotrex supercharger, a custom fabricated intake manifold by Wheel to Wheel, and a Laminova tube intercooler system.

To aesthetically set this pony aside from the herd, Wheel to Wheel Powertrain includes a chin spoiler at the front bumper, a ducktail rear spoiler, a pair of stylish C-Pillar louvers, and some deck lide trim modifications.

To keep the power to the road, a Ford Racing suspension package and Baer brakes are added to the list of mods for the AR500.
